Stay Healthy with HIV

The Ryan White Part B Program provides help for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS in Maine and serves about half of all people living with HIV in the state. Services include the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP); limited help with dental care, housing, and food; and medical case management for people who are ineligible for other case management programs. About 90% of people who utilized Ryan White Part B assistance in 2016 were virally suppressed, which leads to longer, healthier lives, decreased medical costs, and a decreased risk of transmitting HIV to others.
