On 8/30/21, the manufacturer of the LeadCare II device expanded its recall of test kits and began notifying providers to stop use of ALL test kits. Maine CDC notified all providers approved to conduct in-office testing and issued
updated guidance on re-testing patients to reflect the expanded recall.
