Description of Collection:

This collection preserves the history of the Jewish communities in Maine by collecting material produced or collected by organizations and individuals. The Collection contains a range of material, from youth groups, such as Macabee Club, a Jewish high school group in Portland, to the 1940s Guest Book of the Portland Jewish Community Center, to the personal papers of Rabbi Harry Sky.

Circulation/Access Policy:: Materials do not circulate. The Reading Room is open Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m., and also by appointment.
