Wisconsin native Sarah Graves (pseudonym for Mary Squibb) moved to Eastport, Maine in 1996. She and her husband bought a dilapadated sea captain's house and their hands- on renovation provided background for her mystery series, Home Repair is Homicide. The featured amateur sleuth, Jacobia(Jake) Tiptree, is also working on an old house in Eastport.
