Technology: Mobile Device Tutor
Time Commitment
2 ? 4 hours per week

Provide instruction for users of mobile devices (smartphones, e-readers, tablets)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide weekly times for ?drop-in? technology questions and troubleshooting
- Offer one-on-one appointments for specific questions and patrons needing special assistance with devices
- Create easy-to-follow documentation for basic use of common devices
- Assist staff with development of basic mobile device operation and troubleshooting
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications Required
- Ability to work congenially and patiently with staff, patrons and other volunteers
- Knowledge of mobile devices (including e-readers, tablets and smartphones)
- Knowledge of common apps in major ecosystems (Apple, Android)
- Ability to use OpenOffice and/or Microsoft Office to generate documentation or instructions
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, policies and procedures
- Good communication skills
