Chapter 9 Reports - Copying Disk File to CD

Notice about copying disk files to CD:
Instructions for copying a disk file to CD are available in the CVR Guide, Chapter 9, pages 14-18.  These instructions are for use with a Windows XP computer.  If you are using a Windows 7, 8 or 10 computer, you need to ask your IT support for assistance, as the process varies depending on the operating system of the computer.  You may also contact the CVR Helpdesk (1-877-HAVAHLP), and assistance for Windows 7 computers can be provided.

HAVA Equipment Use Documents

To dispose of the original CVR and AVS equipment, you must complete the appropriate forms and submit them to the Division of Elections. After your municipality submits the form(s) and transfer of property has been approved, you may dispose of the equipment as you see fit.

NOTE: If you are disposing of the Dell Windows XP computer, you must follow the instructions provided with the form for removing the hard drive. The hard drive must be returned to the Division of Elections (see step 11 in the instructions
