Biography: Michelle is the parent of a pediatric brain cancer survivor with epilepsy who has been a medical cannabis patient in Maine since 2016. She decided to become a nurse after advocating for her son and experiencing his remarkable recovery. Prior to that, she had a decade-long career as a higher education administrator and educator.
Reason Applying for Workgroup: I applied to this workgroup to represent the interests of pediatric patients who rely on accessible, affordable cannabis formulations for serious medical issues including neurodevelopmental disorders, epilepsy, and cancer.
