Booklist Developer
Time Commitment
2-3 hours, weekly, 6 month commitment
Purpose
To write short descriptions of book titles based on information garnered from book jackets and/or book reviews. These annotations will be used to create booklists for library patrons.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Read book jackets and other review sources
- Write and type short annotations
- Design in conjunction with library staff specific booklists (example: Cozy Mysteries to Die For)
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications Required
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to use a word processing program such as Microsoft Office or Open Office, to type annotations
- Ability to use online reviewing tools such as NoveList (Training will be provided)
- Editing skills are a plus
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently
