The ReEmployME system will undergo scheduled maintenance on January 9th, 2026, between 10 P.M. and 4 A.M. View of correspondence will not be available via the Self-Service portal during this maintenance period.

We are aware of the Contact Us option for BUC found at https://www1.maine.gov/labor/contact/ and the ReEmployME login homepage not processing requests currently and are working on restoring this functionality as soon as possible.

Change to Work Search Waiver for claimants on a temporary layoff

Starting Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the waiver will cover the last six weeks before you return to work. In the past, it applied to the first six weeks of unemployment.

This only applies to individuals with a definite return-to-work date with their former or regular employer.
