Joseph Lamb

Joseph Lamb rose from the rank of private to sergeant first class in the 16th Maine that held back the enemy at Gettysburg and Welden Railroad so others might escape to fight on. He was captured both times and served in Belle Isle and Salisbury for a total of nine months. At Fredericksburg he volunteered to go on the field under fire to bring off the wounded. He is a hero because he saved others and because he had the strength of spirit to survive soul-wrenching experience as a prisoner of war.

Jeffrey Breton

I am proud of my son who has served in the U.S. Army since August 1, 2000. He has been a member of the 2ACR and spent 15 months in Iraq. Thanks for keeping the U.S. safe for all Americans!

James N. Bodlovick

I am proud of my father?s contribution in WWII Pacific Realm, a Tech 5 and Sports writer for Stars and Stripes. He, like so many of his era were men of integrity, family first and sacrifice and held to his religious faith fiercely. He was a man of strong opinion.

Howard Harriman

A life-long patriot. He knew the sacrifices made to protect our country. He was very active in American Legion, having served as Past Commander five times, Americanism Officer for schools and participated in parades and events - walking in those events until age 89! He loves this country and promoted military service whenever he could.
