Evan Plourde

Evan served in the US Marine Corp. He truly knows the sacrifice our soldiers make as he lost his brother to war. He helps veterans everyday as a "claims specialist" with the Maine Veteran Services. He is one "Marine" that deserves to be honored!

ERICH ASHBURN

Commander Erich Ashburn served honorably in the United States Navy for twenty years of dedicated service, he rose up through the enlisted ranks, accepted a Naval Commission, and commanded the Navy's first Hyrdo-plane ship, and went on to command the FLEET INTRODUCTION TEAM ONE at Bath, Maine supporting the Navy's FFG 7 Shipbuilding Program. His death was much too early and untimely.

Douglas L Smith

Left for Vietnam in the summer of 1971 leaving a wife and child at home to pray for his safe return. He was lucky enough to come home and raise a wonderful family. We are truly honored to have this man in our lives.

Dennis Nelson

During the most miserable times, he kept up moral by singing the song of "Gilligan" and whistling cheerful tunes, always working harder than everyone else to make us see that there could be a difference.

David L Kelley

I wish I knew more of what took place during this time, I am proud to be his daughter, and I am also proud of his service to the Korean war, Army, Air Force. He is a very dedicated and caring man. He also served as a medic in the Army. He has many special traits and is a dedicated father and husband. God Bless him and those that served for our country!
