Caution - USPS Implementation of New Postmark Procedures

We want to caution annual report filers who are submitting paper annual report forms by United State Postal Service close to the June 1st filing deadline.  To ensure your mail is postmarked on or prior to June 1st, we encourage you to visit a post office and choose one of these in-person options to document that it was in USPS’ hands ahead of the deadline:

  • Request a manual postmark to provide proof of when your mail was accepted.
  • Send by registered mail, certified mail or certificate of mailing, which provides a receipt of proof of when your mail was accepted.
