Reservation Form - Surplus Shelving & Bookends
Surplus Shelves
Use this form to reserve the number of shelving units and bookends your institution intends to purchase through the Maine Office of Surplus Property (State Surplus). Description and quantities available are provided on the Maine State Library surplus property sale page.
Eligibility: In order to participate in this sale, your organization must be registered with State Surplus and have a donee number. You cannot reserve surplus materials without first having a donee number. See the Maine State Library surplus property sale page for more information on the process and to download an application to be a registered donee.
Please note before making a reservation
- Sale items are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the Maine State Library receives your reservation, you will be contacted within two business days to confirm availability of those items and to coordinate a time for pick-up.
- Sale items are used and condition varies by unit. You will be able to select from available stock when you arrive for pick-up.
- Sale items may be picked up at the Maine State Library temporary warehouse in Winthrop, Maine. Access to the warehouse is by appointment only.
- Items you reserve must be picked up by December 12, 2025.
- You will be invoiced directly by State Surplus, with billing addressed to the individual named on your registered donee form. You must have documentation from State Surplus when you arrive to pick up your reserved items.
