Required Materials

In many cases, submission of all of the materials on the appropriate list will result in completion of the review process in less than 30 days. However, if historic properties are identified or, in the case of archaeological sites, determined likely to exist in the APE, the Commission may request additional project information and/or archaeological or architectural surveys in order to assess the effects of the project upon such properties.

Please see “Required Materials” below for a list of all the items that must be submitted for project review.

All review materials may be submitted electronically to MHPCprojectreview@maine.gov OR in hard copy to the following address: Kirk F. Mohney, Director, Maine Historic Preservation Commission, 55 Capitol Street, 65 State House Station, Augusta, ME, 04333-0065.

Our office is accepting electronic submissions. Please submit project review materials to MHPCprojectreview@maine.gov.  If the electronic submission is greater than 50MB, please contact Megan Rideout at megan.m.rideout@maine.gov
