Invasive Plant Workshop

When: February 21, 2024 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Where: In person: Deering Building, Room 101, 90 Blossom Lane, Augusta,ME or Online through Microsoft Teams

Cost: Free

Who should attend: Maine horticultural businesses that want to learn more about invasive plants and complying with the Do Not Sell List. This workshop will repeat much of the same information that was covered in workshops in October 2023.

All participants will receive a binder of materials that will include all the information needed to fully understand Maine's invasive plant rules, identify invasive plants hitchhiking with plants offered for sale and outreach materials to help educate customers and staff and signage that is required to be posted around rugosa rose plants offered for sale.

This workshop is being offered in person and online simultaneously. You will be asked to choose how you are joining the meeting during the registration process.

This program has been approved for 3 pesticide recertification credits.
