It has been brought to our attention that the rate, in the upper right-hand corner of page 2, is covered by a 2D barcode.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Unemployment Insurance benefits account password guidance

One of the most common issues we encounter are account password resets or claimants being locked out of their account. Currently you have two attempts available to enter your password correctly. If you fail to provide the correct password a third consecutive time, your account will be locked and can only be unlocked by an unemployment representative.

If you have activated the email address associated with the account when the account was created, please use the "Forgot Password" link underneath the login boxes to have a new temporary password generated, which will be sent to the email address on file. You will be able to use this temporary password to log in and will be prompted to set up a new password, personal to you, at that time.

For more information, please visit the ReEmployME Login Information page at https://www.maine.gov/unemployment/remelogin/

Unemployment Insurance contact

Please note that the unemployment office is currently starting the busiest time of the year due to seasonal lay-offs. In order to speak with an unemployment representative, please call our toll-free number at 1-800-593-7660, Monday through Friday between 8: 00 AM and 12: 15 PM. You may need to try calling multiple times to get in the queue. Once in the queue, do not disconnect the call. Your call will be answered in the order in which it was received. Disconnecting the call and calling back in will mean losing your place in the queue.

If you have already submitted an electronic inquiry or request for contact through the Contact Us link, please note that these will be addressed in the order in which they were received. Response times currently may exceed 48-72 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.
