New resources and a few simple classroom practices to help students build resilience and know where to turn for support.

Student wellbeing shapes everything else in the building. This semester we are sharing a small set of practices that any teacher can use, plus the referral paths for when a student needs more.

Start with the basics

Predictable routines and a clear way to ask for help do more than any single program. Consistency is the intervention.

Three things that help this week

  • A visible, low-stakes way for students to signal they are struggling
  • One trusted adult every student can name
  • Clear steps for staff when a concern comes up
Students do not need every adult to be a counselor. They need every adult to know who the counselor is.

Counseling contacts and the full resource list are available through your district's student services office.
