The Maine Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC)
The Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC) advises and works collaboratively with Child Development Services (CDS) to provide information, share resources, and identify improvement strategies to help ensure the continued success and improvement of Maine’s comprehensive system of early intervention for infants/toddlers with disabilities and their families.
State Advisory Panel
Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) requires that an advisory group be established for both Part B & Part C of IDEA. These advisory groups are made up of individuals such as parents of students with disabilities, providers, private and public charter school representatives, and individuals with disabilities.
Meetings currently take place remotely. A link to the meeting or minutes of past meetings may be obtained by contacting Alisha Brownstein at Alisha.Brownstein@maine.gov. Panel appointments are made over the summer, with regularly scheduled meetings beginning in September.
