Legislative Action Committee

The Legislative Action Committee of the Maine State Board of Education is charged with determining the Board's legislative agenda, including bills recommended to the full Board for endorsement. The Committee consists of the Board Chair, Vice Chair and Committee Chairs.

Meetings

Unless otherwise noted on this page or in an attached agenda, meetings are held at 12:00 p.m. in Room 538 of the Cross State Office Building in Augusta. The committee generally meets via Zoom on Fridays of each week when the Legislature is in session.  All State Board of Education meetings are open to the public.  Please feel free to Zoom into the meeting.
