PPE Supply Requests
The Maine CDC Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program’s warehouse was activated in February of 2020 to receive, stage, and ship scarce medical resources such as personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic response. Since February 2020, the warehouse team has fulfilled 5,774 resource requests totaling 12,195,592 items statewide.
After 32 months of continuous operations, the Maine CDC warehouse will be demobilized, effective Monday, September 5, 2022. If you have an active outbreak and are unable to procure PPE commercially, please contact your local Public Health District Liaison. Decisions for emergency PPE requests will be made on a case-by-case basis after consultation with a Maine CDC epidemiologist.
