The ConnectMaine Authority is now an operational unit of the Maine Connectivity Authority. The functional integration of MCA and ConnectMaine operations provides a “single door” solution and simplifies access for Maine citizens, broadband stakeholders, and governmental partners.

All award recipients must use ConnectMaine forms to document the start, progress and completion of each project. The Notice of Commencement must be submitted prior to receiving any grant funds, and each request for grant funds is accompanied by a Progress Report. A Completion Report, including the Audit Form, is submitted to request final grant funds. The Spending Report accompanies Progress Reports and the Completion Report as applicable.

Grant recipients will receive direct communication with instructions for commencement of projects awarded (pdf) in April 2022. 


All award recipients must submit annual grant tracking reports for five years following project completion.
