Dyer Library/Saco Museum is seeking a friendly and dependable Library Assistant to staff all public service areas. The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, be technologically savvy and detail-oriented, and be able to function as part of a collaborative and inclusive team. This position will work in all departments, serving adults, youth, and museum visitors.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and applicable work experience may be substituted. Experience in Sierra library software is highly desirable.

This position is for 25 hours per week, with some variation based on weekend scheduling. The schedule will include 1-2 Saturdays per month and may include evening hours. Compensation starting range is from $19.48-$20.17 per hour.
