Services for Employers
MDOL is committed to providing full access for Maine’s citizens to the services and materials we offer. Providing accessible events, training, information and materials also benefits all of our employees, and helps MDOL serve as a model for other State agencies. Through the State Accessibility Coordinator's office, housed in our agency, we are working with all agencies to promote fully-accessible State programs.
The Americans with Disabilities Act requires that agencies and institutions be accessible to individuals with disabilities and prohibits discrimination. We each have a responsibility to find and use the appropriate tools and best practices to make ADA's mandate a reality.
