Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired
The mission of the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Visually Impaired is to provide leadership and diverse viewpoints in partnership with the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired to develop and evaluate programs and services; to identify priorities that help create opportunities, increase independence and broaden access to the workplace for citizens of all ages who are blind or visually impaired.
Meetings:
The Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired State Rehabilitation Council meets on the third Wednesday of the even numbered months. The specific schedule is listed below. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held in the Frances Perkins Room of the Central Maine Commerce Center, located at 45 Commerce Drive in Augusta. The meetings are held from 1:00 until 4:00 PM.
