Maine’s Department of Corrections recruits candidates of high moral and ethical character. People willing to uphold the department’s commitment to making communities safer though supportive interventions. 97% of those in our care will complete their sentences and release back into Maine communities. We take seriously our role to empower change and help people restore their lives.
