Guest Services Associate

Position Type: Seasonal non-benefitted full-time position at Maine Wildlife Park (April-November)

Compensation: $15-17 hourly, Pay commensurate with experience Guest Services Associates are responsible for providing high quality customer service to Maine Wildlife Park visitors.

Internships

The application period for the wildlife care internship program begins in February. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled. Preference will be given to applicants with weekend and holiday availability.

Wildlife Care Internship

The internship position is 8am-2pm, 2-3 Days a week.

The duration of the internship is May-August. Under the direction of the assistant superintendent, wildlife care interns will work closely with the wildlife keeper team learning many facets of captive wildlife husbandry and care. Primary duties will include diet prep, browse collection, habitat cleaning, enrichment, and assisting with educating visitors. This is a seasonal, unpaid position.
