Who Needs to Register

Anyone who, for monetary fees, dues, or on a cooperative nonprofit basis regularly engages in whole or in part in the practice of assembling or evaluating consumer credit information or other information on consumers for the purpose of furnishing consumer reports or investigative consumer reports to third parties.

How to Apply

Fees

Name Fee Unit
Application Fee $100 per registration
Renewal Fee $100 per registration
Amendment Fee $25 per change to registrant legal name, address, or tradename

NOTE: All fees collected through the NMLS are nonrefundable.
