FSA Publishes New content on the Total and Permanent Disability Discharge (TPD) Program

Federal Student Aid (FSA) has published new content clarifying the roles and responsibilities of medical professionals in the Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Discharge program.
Through this program, people who become totally and permanently disabled are eligible to get a discharge of their federal student loans. The new website explains program definitions and offers tips on how to ensure applications are thoroughly completed. There is also a new TPD application available on FSA's Forms website (Trusted Partner Link).
