Joan Morin is a retired labor advocate with over 30 years of experience in various roles within the labor community. Her labor experience includes 25 plus years as a Uniserv Director with the Maine Education Association, 7 years a member of the Board of Directors for Regional School Unit 12, and additional experience serving as a trainer/facilitator for the National Education Association and Maine School Management Association and serving as a private mediator for employment and community conflict. She has completed the Harvard Law School’s Labor Negotiation Project and enjoys using her skills and training to assist the parties in reaching resolutions regardless of the issues.
