This is the first meeting of the Maine Climate Council’s Equity Subcommittee. The Equity Subcommittee consists of two sector-specific equity experts appointed to each working group, and an additional leadership team of 5 members.
Please join us Friday, February 2nd at 11am to learn more about community engagement, equity, and the role these important practices and concepts might play in your Community Resilience Partnership grant project.
The Maine Climate Council (MCC) set equity as a core objective in Maine’s climate action planning process. To support this, the MCC Equity Subcommittee developed a report to help guide the consideration of equity in climate action and resilience planning in Maine.
