Sample Parent Questionnaire

  1. Does the gifted and talented program provide opportunities for your child that is not available in the regular classroom? If so, please give examples.

  2. Is your child challenged in the gifted and talented program? If so, how?

  3. Is the amount of work assigned in the gifted and talented program appropriate? Please elaborate. 

  4. Is your child concerned about missing work in the regular classroom?

  5. Can you identify any changes in your child’s behavior or attitude toward school or education which seem to result from his/her participation in the gifted and talented program?

  6. Has there been enough communication with the gifted and talented teacher and yourself to keep you informed as to the educational progress and the needs of your child?

  7. What changes might you like to see in the gifted and talented program?
