Submit Feedback and Concerns to RPC

We welcome the opportunity to learn about care issues or concerns you or your family may have experienced at Riverview Psychiatric Center (RPC).

It's always best to first speak with the manager of the department you have a concern with, and they will work diligently and professionally to address your questions, issues or concerns.

If reaching out to the department manager is not effective, you may submit a letter of concern to the Superintendent’s Office and we will act as a liaison between you and the department or practice.

What to Include in a Letter of Concern:

  • the date of service;
  • staff involved;
  • the nature of your complaint; and
  • what we can do to address your concerns.

How to Submit:

  1. Use the online form to send a confidential message. If you would like to be contacted about your concern/suggestion, please fill in the email address and/or phone number fields on the form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  2. Mail a letter of concern to:

Superintendent’s Office
Riverview Psychiatric Center
11 State House Station
Augusta, ME 04333-0011

Next Steps

The Superintendent’s Office will share your concerns with top level administrative staff and other managers as needed, and they will investigate and work to resolve any issues in a timely manner (typically 7-10 business days).

Once administrators provide feedback, follow up will be provided to the person who submitted the concern.
