The "Parents Who Host, Lose The Most: Don't be a Party to Teenage Drinking" public awareness campaign, implemented by Healthy Androscoggin, Project Unite!, was developed by Drug Free Action Alliance, Ohio in 2000. More than 42 States have adopted the program, including Maine.
The campaign objectives are to educate parents about the health and safety risks of serving alcohol at teen house parties and to increase awareness of and compliance with the Ohio Underage Drinking Laws. In Maine, Healthy Androscoggin, Lewiston, has permission to promote the campaign and includes Maine Underage Drinking Laws in all publications.
