Q. Are cash awards taxable?
A. Yes. Cash awards are subject to state and federal withholding requirements. You may wish to consult with a tax professional to discuss the overall effect of the cash award.
Q. May I submit a suggestion which concerns an agency other than the one in which I am employed?
A. Yes. Suggestions of this nature are encouraged.
Q. Can my suggestion be treated anonymously?
A. Yes. Simply check the appropriate box on the front page of the Suggestion Application form. The suggestion will remain anonymous until eligible for an award, if applicable. All individuals on a suggestion will share the award.
