Guide for using ReEmployME

ReEmployME is a new, faster, more efficient way to file for unemployment insurance benefits. Claimants will find it easier to access information about their claims, update their account, file Weekly Certifications for benefits and enter their required Work Searches. View or download this guide for how to create an account and file Weekly Certifications.

Note: A weekly certification is not complete until you have provided your employer work search contacts for each week you file a claim. The easiest method is to file these in ReEmployME while you are filing your weekly certification. If you are filing your weekly claim by telephone, you must still provide your weekly employer contacts. You must log into the ReEmployME claim system on the internet and complete your claim. If you do not have access to the internet, there are computers available for use at the Maine CareerCenters. You may also call 1-800-593-7660 and a customer representative will assist you in completing your weekly certification and documenting the employers that you contacted for your work search during the week being claimed.

IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE YOUR WORK SEARCH, YOUR WEEKLY CLAIM IS NOT COMPLETE. IF THE WORK SEARCH INFORMATION IS NOT PROVIDED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE WEEK BEING FILED, BENEFITS WILL BE DENIED FOR THE WEEK.
