Due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Office of the Public Advocate (OPA) is implementing the following actions to minimize the possible impact of COVID-19 within our office to protect both the public and our staff members.

Until further notice, the OPA’s physical office location at 103 Water Street, Hallowell, Maine will only be open to staff. The OPA will remain available to the public by telephone during regular business hours by contacting (207) 624-3687 and after hours by leaving a voicemail. The OPA may also be contacted by emailing opa@maine.gov.

We will continue to reevaluate to see when it is safe to lift this restriction.
