Deputy Director, Strategic Communications and Public Affairs
Jackie Farwell leads GOPIF's strategic communications and public affairs efforts to support its signature policy initiatives. Before joining GOPIF, Jackie served as the director of communications at the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, where she developed and oversaw strategic communications as part of the senior leadership team for the largest department in Maine’s executive branch.
Prior to DHHS, Jackie was an accomplished editor and journalist at news outlets in Maine and New York, including the Bangor Daily News, Mainebiz, and The Associated Press.
Jackie is a graduate of the University of Maine and the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
