Assessment of student growth and achievement in the Maine Learning Results Life and Career Ready standards are best measured in the act of learning, the synthesis and transfer of new learning to new situations, and by individual student reflections of their journey and growth. The Maine DOE welcomes the opportunity to work with educators as they develop ways to measure student growth and development in the Life and Career Ready standards.
