Family and Intimate Partner Violence Training

The Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence (MCEDV) and our partners in the mental health field developed a 12-hour curriculum in order to meet the 2020 domestic violence training requirements for training (see L.D. 1238, 126th Legis. 2013).

The 2 day training will include information that will prepare the professional to work with people who have experienced and perpetrated domestic abuse and violence and will cover the foundations, addressing the lasting impact, intervention strategies and trauma informed and culturally competent responses.
