Maine Conservation Corps
Service Program - lasting from 6 to 10 months include:
- Environmental Stewards and Field Teams
One Day OR One Project Opportunities
- Individuals and groups are invited to join MCC Service Members on projects such as trail construction & maintenance, watershed surveys, invasive species removal, and educational events.

- Maintenance of a 2.5 acre sustainable landscaping demonstration garden and trails on Portland's Back Cove.
Help Protect Maine's Forest
Take a Stand - This volunteer program invites Maine citizens and seasonal residents to "Take a Stand for Hemlocks" by adoptinga hemlock stand and surveying it annually for the presence of hemlock woolly adelgid. Participants are trained to identify hemlock woolly adelgid and to apply the detection and monitoring survey methods developed by Scott Costa at the University of Vermont.
