Keeping Your Balance in Stressful Times

This is a stressful time. The economy is not doing well, we are at war in the Middle East, terrorism is on everyone's mind, North Korea is threatening its neighbors and oil prices are going up and up. On top of that we have a winter that doesn't want to quit.

At a time like this it is important for everyone to practice good self-care, doing those things that help manage stress, and that help keep perspective. Exercising, talking with friends and family, doing fun things, looking for opportunities to laugh, using one's spiritual resources, and playing with children are all healthy options. Everyone has their own list of what can recharge their batteries or keep up their spirits. Now would be a good time to practice some of these things.
