• You will be receiving a customized premium offer from Prudential which will include buy-up opportunities for employees only (without medical underwriting). (Family members and retirees can buy-up but will have show proof of good health.) The mailing was processed on November 18th. You will then have until 12/18/09 to decide if you want to stay with Aetna or switch to Prudential (the switch is not mandatory). If you decide to switch to Prudential, it is a guarantee issue (proof of good health not required). As of 4/1/2010 Aetna will no longer accept premium payments made through payroll deduction. Aetna will directly bill you at home (you will have a choice of billing frequency).
