Androscoggin Bank intent to close its Lisbon Street, Lewiston branch

Androscoggin Bank, with a main office at 505 Sabattus Street, Lewiston, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to Title 9-B M.R.S. §336, of its intent to close its branch located at 30 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, Maine, effective April 30, 2026.

You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Androscoggin Bank to submit a comprehensive application in support of its proposal through March 11, 2026, pursuant to the provisions of Title 9-B M.R.S. §336. Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be sent to bfi.info@maine.gov.
