You can search Individuals and Companies that have been licensed in manufactured housing. To look up a licensee, you will need the individual or company name, or license number. Make sure that under the “Regulator” field you have selected “Manufactured Housing.”
Only certain information is available to the public, including the address and the phone number.
Manufactured housing community residents may want to verify a license to find owner information about the community. Residents may also want to search dealers to see past complaints. Code Enforcement Officers can also use the portal to verify that contractors have an active manufactured housing license. Other businesses also might want to check to see how long a manufacturer or dealer has been in business and verify if they are licensed to do business in Maine.
