Lawmakers approve Graham bill to support children and individuals with intellectual disabilities

AUGUSTA - The Legislature gave final approval Tuesday to a measure sponsored by Rep. Anne Graham, D-North Yarmouth that would develop a "No Eject, No Reject" policy to support children receiving behavioral health services and individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Graham accepted to the NCSL Child Welfare Fellows Academy

AUGUSTA - Rep. Anne Graham, D-North Yarmouth, has been accepted into the National Conference of State Legislature's (NCSL) Child Welfare Fellows Academy for the June 2023 session.

The program provides legislators and legislative staff a rare opportunity to focus intensively on the prevention of child maltreatment in state child welfare systems. Fellows will engage in thoughtful policy discussions, learn from nationally recognized experts, connect with peers from other states and receive technical assistance from NCSL.

Greely High School Madrigals perform the national anthem before the Maine House

Rep. Anne Graham, D-North Yarmouth, and Rep. Steve Moriarty, D-Cumberland, welcomed the Greely High School Madrigals and director Sarah Hanson Bailey to the State House on Tuesday. The group performed the national anthem in the chamber of the House of Representatives at the start of the day's session.

Graham to hold constituent office hours

AUGUSTA - Rep. Anne Graham, D-North Yarmouth, welcomes constituents to attend her office hours on Saturday, April 29, at Pineland Farms Cafe from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

This is a monthly opportunity for members of the public to sit down with Graham and hear updates from Augusta, ask questions about policymaking and share opinions on state matters. Graham will hold constituent office hours on the last Saturday of every month.

House advances Graham bill to improve access to medication for MaineCare members

AUGUSTA - The Maine House of Representatives gave initial approval Tuesday to a bill from Rep. Anne Graham, D-North Yarmouth, which would allow the Department of Health and Human Services to streamline access to certain nonprescription drugs and vaccines to MaineCare members by issuing standing orders for those treatments.

Graham welcomes choir director David Myers-Wakeman to State House

Rep. Anne Graham, D-North Yarmouth, was joined at the State House on Thursday by friend and North Yarmouth Congressional Church Choir Director David Myers-Wakeman, who performed the national anthem prior to the opening of the legislative session.

House District

Rep. Anne Graham is serving her fourth non-consecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives, having previously served from 2010 to 2014. She sits on the Health and Human Services Committee and the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee.

Graham worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for over 35 years and is now retired. A North Yarmouth resident for nearly three decades, she has long been an active member of the community. She has extensive volunteer service experience in Gray and North Yarmouth, and formerly served on the North Yarmouth Select Board.
