Rielly introduces bill to better address sexual assault and harassment within Maine National Guard

Morgan Rielly, D-Westbrook, introduced LD 1783 before the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee on Monday that would implement recommendations from the Governor's Advisory Council on Military Sexual Trauma and take additional steps to support survivors of sexual assault and harassment within the Maine National Guard.

Committee advances Crafts bill to improve behavioral health support in Maine public schools

AUGUSTA - A majority of the Legislature's Education and Cultural Affairs Committee voted for legislation from Rep. Lydia Crafts, D-Newcastle, that would help Maine address its youth mental health crisis.

As amended, LD 829 would take three important steps toward improving behavioral health support in public schools.
