Three working groups of the Maine Climate Council – Energy, Buildings and Transportation – are jointly hosting a 2-hour virtual meeting to review draft recommendations related to electricity demand management. The meeting is a follow-up to a January workshop.

  • 9:00 AM - 9:10 AM: Welcome and objectives. Why is this topic so important for Maine’s energy and climate future?
    • Dan Burgess, Governor’s Energy Office
  • 9:10 AM - 9:20 AM: Overview of four components of the draft recommendation.
    • David Plumb and Caroline Colan

    • Guiding question by component: What are key messages that we need to send in this component? (note: this is not a group wordsmithing exercise!)
    • Is there any crucial concept/action that isn’t covered by these four components?
  • 10:45 AM - 10:55 AM: Final gut-check. Do the different WGs see their needs and interests addressed in this draft recommendation?
