Megan Mansfield-Pryor is a Waste Management Climate Policy Advisor with the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. Prior to joining GOPIF, Megan was an Environmental Specialist with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, where she oversaw and administered the architectural paint, mercury thermostat, and mercury lamp product stewardship programs and provided outreach, education, and technical assistance to municipalities and businesses to meet specific situational needs in waste reduction and recycling efforts. From 2017-2023, Megan served on the board of the Northeast Recycling Council and the Education Committee of the Maine Resource Recovery Association, and she brings extensive experience with regional collaboration and sustainable materials management. She holds a master’s degree in Policy, Planning, and Management with a concentration in Sustainable Development and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning and Policy from the University of Southern Maine.
