ALERT and Phase 1 Tests

ALERT testing and Phase I written exams are being offered the first and third Wednesday of each month. Seats are limited, and preregistration is required. Please contact our office at (207)877-8000 to register.

For the ALERT Test, arrive at the Academy at 0830 hours. The Phase 1 Exam will start at 1200 hours. Lunch is not provided; consider bringing a bag lunch.

Physical Fitness Test

Physical Fitness Testing is being offered at the Academy at this time; PFT's may also be conducted by agencies with Academy-certified PFT evaluators, off-site, with a memorandum of understanding.

The next available dates for open Physical Fitness Testing are:

Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, 1200 hours
