Traffic Sensor Work on Route 4 in Turner

TURNER - The Maine Department of Transportation will be installing new traffic count sensors on Route 4 in Turner next week. This work will involve lane closures on Route 4, south of Harlow Hill Road. Work is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 17th. This work will require closure of the southbound lane. Work requiring the closure of the northbound lane will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18th. Like all outside construction work, this schedule is weather-dependent. These traffic count sensors allow MaineDOT to accurately classify and count the number of vehicles using this highway throughout the year.
